Jem Smalley

salon director

Hello!

Id like to take this time to say thank you to all of our friends and clients.

Without you, our dream is not possible.

Indah opened September 20th 2021 with a vision to be a place where people love to visit, where they leave feeling refreshed and fabulous.

I have been hairdressing since I was 17 years old and still loving it as much as the day I started.

Soft blondes and balayage are my favourite colour work and I love all aspects of cutting men and womens hair.

Taking the time to chat and get to know my client is something I value. I believe that to be comfortable you have to feel welcome.

I am open, affable and love a good chat.

Please note Jem is currently at capacity with her clientele so not taking new clients.

Hi! Im Amy and Ive had the pleasure of working in the hairdressing industry for 22 years and I still love it now as much as I did when I started.

Throughout my career I have been a part of national artistic teams, worked on many editorial photoshoots and competed and won awards nationally.

My biggest achievement to date was recently winning the Loreal Professional style and colour trophy peoples choice award NZ 2021. An absolute career high for me.

I am a self professed glam queen and I just love a good makeover. Glossy dimensional brunettes, soft balayage, dreamy blondes and glam waves are my obsession at the moment.

My biggest goal is to be able to work with my clients to ensure they have the best experience possible. Seeing them walk out of the salon with fabulous hair and a huge smile having had the best time and great vibes is my favourite part!

Please note Amy is currently at capacity with her clientele so not taking new clients.

I have dedicated my career to this industry, and 23 years on my passion for hair has only grown.

living abroad for 11 years I worked in a variety of salons, from a cutting bar in the UK, to high end spas in Dublin and Montreal and downtown salons in Vancouver and Toronto. (I love to travel!) Nowadays, when not in-salon I can be seen chasing after my two little people or my beloved springer spaniel.

When it comes to my favourite aspect of hairdressing I have to say its the variety. Precision or razor cutting, tight fades, soft layers, baby lights, balayage or rich chocolate browns-I love it all! (just don’t ask for a perm!)

Seeing a client walk out feeling more relaxed, beautiful and self- confident is what keeps me coming to work, and it all starts with the head massage!

Look forward to seeing you soon x
